Introducing the New Appointment Book

Zenoti's enhanced Appointment Book includes new colors, icons, and a new look and feel. Layouts are now more compact and optimized to give essential information at a glance.

Note: The new Appointment Book is not enabled by default. Zenoti will make it the default layout in a few weeks. Contact Support if you want to enable it right away. 

Previously, the Appointment Book displayed its icons and controls in a single panel on the top. See the following image for reference.

The enhanced Appointment Book includes two separate panels of icons and controls for optimized view and usage. See the following image for reference.

The following table describes the new and enhanced icons and controls available in the top panels of the Appointment Book.

Icon/Control Description
 

Now moved to the top-left corner of the Appointment Book, the Search field allows you to look for guests’ profiles, book appointments for them, or take payments from them by typing their name, phone, email, or code.

 

In the same position as before, this control allows you to select the date for the appointments you want to book or view.

 

A new Launch POS icon (in place of ) that opens the Point of Sale (POS) window.

If your Admin has enabled the Maintain separate product sales option in Admin>Organization>Organization>Settings tab>Invoice & Receipt>Invoice Settings, the Launch POS icon displays a separate Point of Sale-Products option to take payment for products.

 

(New feature) A new icon that allows you to check prices of services, products, packages, and memberships.

Now moved to the right side of the top panel, this icon allows you to check in or check out employees.

 

In the same position as before, this icon opens the Admin page.

You may not see this icon if you do not have permission to access the Admin settings.

 

Now moved to the top-right corner, this control allows you to select the center in which you want to book or view appointments.

 

Now moved to the left corner of the second panel, this icon provides a vertical view of the Appointment Book.

Previously, this icon was a part of the Orientation menu as shown in the following image.

 

Now moved to the left corner of the second panel, this icon provides a horizontal view of the Appointment Book.

Now moved to the left corner of the second panel, this icon provides a list view of the Appointment Book.

New control in place of the old  icon to display a room-based view of the Appointment Book.

 

New control in place of the old  icon to display a therapist-based view of the Appointment Book.

 

New icon for grouped options (shown in the following image) to filter, save, and edit views, and to sort therapists.

Previously, these options appeared as part of the  icon. See the following image for reference.

 

New icon (in the second panel) in place of the old  icon to review online bookings before confirming them.

 

New icon (in the second panel) in place of the old  icon to follow up on appointments.

 

New icon (in the second panel) in place of the old  icon to manage waitlists and turnaways.

 

New icon (in the second panel) in place of the old  icon to toggle appointment color codes.

 

New icon (in the second panel) in place of the old  icon to print the Appointment Book.
